We experienced this in one of the worst-possible ways: a Sunday evening after a big snowstorm, and early because we had theater tickets for 7:30. We were not that hungry, and the place was pretty empty though it began to fill as we left. The food was OK but what we ordered didn't hit the spot (too heavy). Thickest cut of schnitzel I've ever had. Service pleasant enough, but long lags in the food service.
i think this restaurant is a little gem. i took a friend there for her birthday with a couple other girls and the management and wait staff were so accommodating. The food was exactly what were wanted and each plate was great as a meal or to pass around the table for everyone to enjoy. The beer was delicious and they pour a generous glass. We have been back at least 4 times since.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city! Everything from the decor, service, food, management and head chef...PERFECT. The lunch prix-fixe is the best deal in town and their busy and energetic dinners are not to be missed! A neighborhood gem!
Unbaringly rude owner and management. Slow service. Deafeningly bad acoustics. Mediocre food. Stale decor - hasn't been redecorated since it was another restaurant - Le Zinc - decades ago. Time to close this one down. Can't believe they're still are open given the amazing restaurant's surrounding them.
Can we please move on? Why is this even considered a good restaurant. A bad neighborhood restaurant that was deservedly empty. Do not go.
